This is a damn shame! She is in a high chair sucking on a pacifier! She don't care about her hair and "looking good"! All she probably care about is cartoons and gummy bears (or whatever children goo and gaa over). Its the insecure arse of a mother (parents) putting this bullshat in this baby’s head! WHYYYY WHYYYY! Weave for WHAT!!! She is a baby! Where is the baby going? Who is the baby trying to impress? NOBODY, cause she a BABY!

Insecure arse ho3s make me so sick!

she still has a pacifier! my mom used to braid my hair in extensions sometimes when i was younger, but i wasnt that young, and i never had no dang micros! when i did get micros i was in middle school, and i hated getting them because although i liked the style, it took too long to put in and take them out...i barely had the patience to sit through those hours, so i know a baby doesnt! and i bet when her mom takes them out, she just cuts or pulls them out...smh...her hairline is gonna be to' up before she starts school.

Much to my dismay, my cousin had a style similar to this done on her little girl who isn't even 2 years old. I constanly want to talk to her about it because she pulls the poor babys hair to make it seem "groomed" but it looks painful. However I know where that conversation would go.

I wish I could ask this woman a few questions...

1. I mean first of all, how do you even get a child that small to sit still long enough to do micros?
2. What was wrong with just braiding her own hair?
3. Umm, you don't think you're going to give her a complex about her hair?
4. Where the heck are her EDGES??!!
5. Why, WHY, WHY, WHY??!!

And to reiterate the OP,

6. REALLY???!!!!

It pisses me off,! I hate seeing children being “Hair Abused”. A family member use to put "dookie" braids (think Janet Jackson 'Poetic Justice') in her daughters hair when she was like 1 and a half years old. She has no edges ya'll. None! And she like almost 18 years old.

So this is where self image and self-esteem issues begin for little girls. And I bet her mother thinks she's doing something by having those braids put in. Micro braids on a baby...Really?! (39) That poor, poor, baby; her mother has already made it crystal clear: Even as a baby, who you are isn't good enough. Micro braids on a baby...Really?! (40)

I showed the pics to my grandmother. She said if that child had enough hair to braid the weave into then she had enough hair to do by itself. These new ghetto mamas don't know what the hell they are doing..... She's still shaking her head. This was 15 minutes ago.
